One list, every morning.
Things launch everywhere: Show HN, GitHub, Hugging Face, the App Store, company newsrooms. Each place ranks only its own. Daily Launch puts them in one ranking, rebuilt every morning, and keeps watching them after launch day.
What the site does
Every morning a script reads each source, keeps what is new, and gives every launch one Launch Score from 0 to 100. The top launches go on the home page, and the full list for each day stays on its own daily ranking page. Every product gets a page with its description, the numbers from each source, a timeline of where it showed up, and how its score was worked out.
Nobody picks the order by hand. The rules are the same for every launch and are written out in full on How we rank.
Where the launches come from
The one-line description on each product comes from the product's own page or post. Images are the product's own share image or a screenshot of its site, credited on the page. Every number links back to the place it came from.
When it updates
The ranking is rebuilt once a day, in the morning UTC. Each page shows the time its data was collected, and each day's ranking keeps its own page.
Money never moves a rank
We never sell a place in the ranking. There are no paid line-skips, vote multipliers or sponsored rows. If we ever have a sponsor, it will get one slot outside the list, clearly labelled.
Mistakes and corrections
When a source changes or we find a mistake in how we read it, we fix it and the next morning's ranking carries the correction. If you spot one, or have a question, write to hello@dailylaunch.org. Changes to the ranking rules are dated and listed at the end of How we rank.
