Laminar
Open-source platform to trace, evaluate, and debug AI agents. Laminar surfaces agent failures, and helps you fix them.
Laminar launched on 19 October 2026. It ranked #29 on Daily Launch on 20 October 2026 with a Launch Score of 48, from 58 points on Launch HN. It was new in the ranking that day.
What is Laminar?
We’ve been building open-source observability for AI agents since 2024. Recently, we released flow-1, a model trained with RL to find errors in agent traces. This makes it affordable to analyze every production agent trace, without sampling. Agent observability is crowded, so instead of a bullet list of how Laminar differs from X, we’ll explain how we’re solving agent observability from first principles.
